The Exchange releases Woodford Reserve Private Selection

At a release party held upstairs in The Stables, guests were invited to try The Exchange's new private selection bourbon from Woodford Reserve. The party was MC'd by Woodford's master distiller Chris Morris who described The Exchange's new bourbon as "sweet and soft, full of flavor and perfect for New Albany."

Besides trying the new bourbon, guests were also treated to a full course meal provided by former head chef Patrick Carter. Carter has since moved on to The Exchange's sister restaurant, Brooklyn and the Butcher, with Scott Dickenson taking over at The Exchange.

Bottles of The Exchange Private Selection Woodford Reserve are very limited and are expected to sell out spring, 2017.

The Exchange Celebrates Repeal Day 2016; Hosts First Beefsteak Dinner Banquet

The Exchange pub + kitchen celebrated Repeal Day this year by hosting their first Beefsteak Dinner Banquet. Billed as an all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink, beer, beef, and bread celebration, guests spent the evening upstairs in The Stables enjoying unlimited ale and mounds and mounds of beef.

Dishes ranged from lamb chops, blood sausage, and prime rib. Sold at $55 a ticket, guests got their money's worth as they shoveled interesting cuts of beef into their mouths well into the evening.

Proceeds from the event went to support Apron, a charity group that helps people in the service industry with unexpected medical bills. The event was sponsored by Falls City Brewers and Brown Foreman.
